i put 700r4 in 70 camaro--problem is that it shifts too quick--in about 40' i'm in overdrive--do i need shift kit or is there an adjustment i can do

Are you positive that the TV Cable is the right length, and giving the correct pressure..
If it's not, you'll burn it up in the first mile...

Smell the fluid and make sure that it is not allready burnt!! If t/v pressures are correct then I'm sure it's fine.
